The Green Kitty

I'm still trying to get this hang of this blogging. Especially when I post. Oh, well, I'm an old person now and there are many holes in the brain.

This will be a wonderfully short week for me. I was supposed to take Linda to the hospital for tests yesterday, but her doctor cancelled, so I took the day off. Isn't that special? I was already scheduled to be off for Friday so I could have a 4 day weekend, so all I have to do is work today and the next two and I'm free for four whole days!

My weights has always been an issue - with lots of volumes. My first diet clinic was when I was 6 years old. I can remember a very tall nurse looking down at me and telling me I could have one "sweet" a day. She was very tall and I was just six. I was very tall for a six year old. I was very tall until I was 10 - and quit growing. I just can't seem to keep the weight off. I can loose it, but I can't keep it off. It really sucks, too. I do have a sweet tooth and I do over indulge at times. It is terribly frustrating, too. I've even had surgery, but have been steadily gaining since. I'm going to try another approach using this doctor from California's formula. I'll have to give up grains which he says is death. Maybe that's the key. I keep trying. And trying. . . and trying.

Maybe this time, I'll be lucky. . .

I have "Fear of Dentist." And I have a dental appointment in a very short while. At least I can get the nitrous oxide to get me through the appointment. That plus the tranqs and I'm a happy camper for several hours. At least it isn't the root canal. I had one of those in May. The oral surgeon's office charged extra for the nitrous!!! Slugs. I should just bite the doctor and he'd either smack me or give me the nitrous for free instead of charging an extra $75.00 for it. At least the dentist I'm going to adds the stuff into the overall bill, thank heaven. Today is just a cleaning to find out what else I have to forward to. I told Dr. B that everything will have to be within the confines of Delta Dental, so no more root canals this year.

Time to go. Gotta get the bucks to pay the dentist. Tra-La!

The Green Kitty

Don't ask me why I'm calling it The Green Kitty. I guess it's because of the green bear pen I just got from our Children's Librarian and I love cats. What am I going to do with this blog? I haven't the foggiest idea. Have fun I reckon and maybe it will help me to sort out some things I've been thinking about. Who knows. It could be fun.
